What We Don't Do

Bio Hazards

Our Neatologists travel from home to home, and maintaining proper sanitation is very important to us. For that reason, we do not handle biohazards. If your situation requires this type of cleaning, please reach out to request a specialized biohazard service. These cleans require unique PPE and equipment and are limited to specific schedules.

  • No litter boxes
  • No Pet Excrements
  • No Soiled Carpets
  • No Blood
  • No Human Excrements

For safety reasons and to prevent damage to flooring or fixtures, we do not move large furniture or appliances. Our Neatologists clean around and underneath accessible areas only.

If you need these items moved before your clean, we recommend arranging this prior to our arrival.

We do not run self-clean cycles on ovens. These features reach extreme temperatures that can trigger smoke alarms or damage appliance components.

We also won’t use cleaning products directly on the lining of your oven. These can strip the finish of your self cleaning oven.

Neatology aims to provide a fresh, healthy environment for both clients and team members. Please ensure there is no smoking indoors during your scheduled clean.

If your space has been regularly smoked in, it must be specified on the booking form as special equipment and scheduling will be required.

We do not clean the interiors or screens of electronics (TVs, computers, gaming systems, etc.) to avoid damage. We dust around and beneath safely accessible areas.

In regular routine cleans, for safety reasons, we do not climb higher than a two-step ladder or clean areas beyond arm’s reach (e.g., high ceilings, tall windows, or exterior surfaces).

We’re happy to schedule you in for a deep clean or window cleaning with a provider specifically trained for this.

Light mildew in bathrooms is addressed during cleaning, but we do not handle active mold growth. Mold remediation requires specialized equipment and certification.

We cannot service homes with active infestations (insects, rodents, or bed bugs). Once the issue has been professionally treated, we can happily return for a full deep clean.
